Welcome to Méndez Painters Inc. By accessing or using our website (www.mendezpaintersinc.com), requesting an estimate, or hiring our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Use of Website

This website is provided for informational purposes only. All content, including service descriptions, pricing information, and project images, is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

Estimates and Quotes

Free estimates provided by Méndez Painters Inc. are based on the information available at the time of the visit. Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • Scope of work

  • Surface conditions

  • Customer revisions or change orders

  • Additional labor or materials

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified.

Scheduling and Deposits

  • Scheduling is subject to availability. In most cases, a deposit of 25-50% is required to secure your project date. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless a different payment plan is agreed upon in writing.

Cancellation Policy

​

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations or repeated rescheduling may result in forfeiture of deposit. If work has already begun, client may be charged for labor and materials used to date.

Scope of Work

​

  • The scope of work will be clearly defined in your estimate or written agreement. Méndez Painters Inc. is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by structural defects

  • Pre-existing mold or mildew

  • Unforeseen complications during prep

  • Client-supplied materials or color selections

  • We strive for excellence but cannot guarantee results when the surface is unstable or when working with low-grade products provided by the customer.

Materials and Colors

​

  • We use high-quality materials and top paint brands (Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, etc.). While we aim for color accuracy, final color appearance may vary due to lighting, surface texture, and application. It is the client’s responsibility to approve final colors before work begins.

Warranties and Satisfaction Guarantee

​

  • Méndez Painters Inc. offers a 1-year limited workmanship warranty on most interior and exterior painting projects. This does not cover:

  • Wear and tear

  • Water damage

  • Improper maintenance

  • Damage from external forces (storms, vandalism, etc.)

  • Warranty claims must be made in writing within the warranty period.

Privacy

We value your privacy. Any personal information collected through our website (contact forms, estimate requests, etc.) will be used only to provide service and will never be sold to third parties. For more details, see our [Privacy Policy].

Limitation of Liability

Méndez Painters Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to use of this website or our services. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service.

Governing Law

​These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes will be handled through local jurisdiction in Suffolk or Essex County.
